“We had a lovely time staying Christine and Shawn’s home. The amenities within the community are great. Hawley is a 15 minute drive away and has a great small town feel with loads of antique shops. There are some good hikes near by and the lake is beautiful. We had trouble trying to fit everything into one weekend. The house is clean and cozy and Shawn and Christine send you loads of info and recommendations making the trip easy and enjoyable ”

“It was honestly the most peaceful getaway I've ever been to. Jason was so helpful and kind, he even gave us a list of things to do and places to see. I was even able to bring my emotional support dog with me! Me and my family will definitely be visiting again, it was a great experience”

“This house was perfect for a quick weekend! There is a small beach by the lake that’s nice for a walk/morning coffee. It’s not a touristy area at all so it’s quiet and peaceful. I would say if you’re looking to be isolated it’s not necessarily for you, as it is in a community of houses, but if that doesn’t bother you it’s definitely still a great location! The host is extremely helpful and friendly. I had asked if there were board games and he literally went and bought some haha! GREAT place for……

“This location was fantastic. We had an amazing time exploring nearby towns and relaxing at the property.”

“Stayed here for three nights with an old friend and my big dog! We loved the deck and the kayaks and that several rooms had TVs. Also close to the cute town of Jeffersonville! The kitchen was beautiful but not a sharp knife to be found for cooking unfortunately. Lots of small applicants though! “We had the most incredible stay at Highland! This property is perfectly set up for groups or families traveling together. With five separate houses/cabins, each couple (and their kids) had their own private space to relax and recharge—super comfortable and cozy, yet very clean and well-kept. It made the whole experience feel seamless and stress-free.At the same time, the shared space was perfect for gathering.
