“143 Elliot St at Buckeye Lake was an adorable four room house with a laundry room. Many homes on the street to this location looked a bit tattered but this little house had a complete makeover. Plenty of space for the two of us. We had two bedrooms but only used one. Nice eat in kitchen fully furnished with everything and even some condiments in the pantry. Laundry room was equipped with washer/dryer and laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Basically all we needed to bring was our clothes and……

“My friend and her husband and my partner traveled together to attend a festival nearby. The house was very accessible to the location and also quiet in a nice vacation community. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the beds were great, and there was more than enough room to have some privacy. The house was so well appointed with linens and a full kitchen which is a great layout for entertaining, and the host was very responsive. If I had to come up with any criticisms, it would be that the……

“If you have a student at Kenyon College, this is a great place to stay. Very close to KC with the conveniences of Mt Vernon. Property was clean and easily accessible. The bathroom is tiny- can’t image sharing it with 4 people but it worked for 2 of us. Wish we had known about it before this graduation trips-would have definitely stayed here more often.”

“This property is well off the beaten path. Most times, you can’t hear any human activity; just birds, insects and the breeze in the trees. It has a spacious kitchen and living area, and comfortable beds. Stay here if you’re looking for peace and quiet and don’t mind driving 20 minutes to get supplies. The host is very communicative as well. We really enjoyed it!”
