“I made a booking after reading all information on the website. It looked good and convenient to Ella. Well, the trip up the mountain to reach the Red Rock was positively dangerous! It was slippery, muddy, very narrow and steep. To top it off it was raining! I arrived in a trembling mess and found that the Red Rock was dirty, smelly, had not mosquito nets and I was stuck there!! There were no restaurants I could access, so I ate fried rice for my evening meals (at an additional charge). At……

“This property is situated on a beautiful hill where you can see sunrise just like from Little Adam’s Peak. Rooms are old fashioned train station themed, which adds nice touch. Free yoga session is nice addition. Reception staff is nice but the restaurant staff in the morning breakfast are not very attentive. Overall our stay was good, but with the price point of view Ella now has another amazing new resort nearby. But if you want to stay in close proximity to Ella town this hotel is best. ”

“The hotel has a perfect location, it is close to Ella town but you still have the feeling of being out in nature and surrounded by trees. You can walk to both Ella Rock, little Adam’s Peak and the Nine Arch bridge from the hotel. The hotel is very nice and cosy, and it was very clean. The owner is so nice and helpful- we would definitely stay there again!”

“This place is magical! Truly a stay in the jungle. There’s no road to the cabin so the last part you have to walk on the railway. However the staff were really helpful and carried our suitcases the whole way - so do recommend to pack lightly. The place was amazing and the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend! ”

“Decent hotel with a great view and nice spacious rooms... not too far from city center, but too far to walk as there is a bit of traffic. Breakfast and amenities could be better for the price.”

“You'll have to step onto a narrow path that sometimes goes up, sometimes goes down, takes a turn or two to the left, to the right, to finally emerge in front of "Silver Dome Guest House". Mind the map to arrive there for taking a wrong turn is easily done, especially during night time.
