“Somewhat grand house with a lot of character. Nice view of the garden to the hills and river just outside. Spacious room and bathroom. Everything worked well. Ouffa (the host) was gracious and friendly. Easy and pretty walk into the nearby small town.”

“1. Arrive in the daylight! This is Deep France, so it's a little confusing to find in the dark. 2. Stay in the Chateau part of the house. Our romantic room was BEAUTIFUL and just like the photos. Our -in-laws had a family room, and it was very large! 3. You should reserve for dinner since there isn't much else if you arrive in the evening. We missed it and ended up eating pizza in a parking lot! 4. Breakfast "buffet" was impressive, both the beautiful DR setting and the variety of food. Worth……

“These are lovely people and it’s a beautiful located property. If you are from the UK or US the owners both speak amazing English and will make you most welcome. Two nights wasn’t enough, but we were unable to extend our stay as it was fully booked. Would love to come back one day. ”

“We needed a cheap 1 night stay before our early flight and decided on this hotel. For the price, this hotel is a good choice. Not what i would usually choose (they've obviously done a refurb of most rooms but in the more traditional, older style) but definitely good value for money. The pool seemed to have been newly decked and looked nice! Some of the bathrooms had been newly installed and more modern, whereas my room (which had a bath) had just been “touched up”, but was bigger than others.……

“Amazing great Chateau with lovely spacious rooms - off season it was a skeleton staff but they were friendly and attentive. The food was top notch - worth the trip for that alone. Golfists would enjoy it too.”
