“Delightful stay at the Ullensvang Hotel—an oasis of beauty and tranquility! The fjord is unbelievably stunning and the property is both pristine and elegant. So many beautiful rooms throughout the property where you can sit with friends or quietly by yourself reading a book. Very thoughtful design that is highly grounded in historical context. The food was terrific as well. Stayed an entire week and didn’t want to leave. The town has a lot to offer-hiking, bakery, bistro, pizza restaurant with……

“The hotel did not change the bed sheet before we checked in. We had to ask for new bed sheets. There was no light bulb on one of the light fixture. There were extension cords in the room for the light fixtures. Overall, I am not satisfied with the hotel accommodation for the price I paid”

“A HUGE problem with this accommodation is that even though the owners have written to Expedia to correct it, the listing indicates that this lodging is 27 km from Fram. It is actually 90 km and takes 2 hours to drive, most of which is on very narrow, windy mountain roads. The views are beautiful but we were not planning for such a long and harrowing drive. It is 27 km if you are a crow or have a helicopter. It was wonderfu when we finally arrived.”

“It is an historic hotel with a spectacular view to the lake. The room is large and cosy. It is just 3 minutes' walk to Voss station, therefore it is very convenient for us to catch the train to Bergen. The breakfast is impressive as we can enjo the lake view while having the tasty food. It may be a little bit difficult to find the reception as the door is small and open to the railway.”
