“We stayed here over New Year's and loved it. The views of the sunrise and sunsets were amazing. The stars were so bright being away from the city lights and to hear the owls talking to each other in the distance. Kitchen was well stocked, we enjoyed eating breakfast and starting the day off with the calmness and relaxation that comes from being away from the bussle of life. The shower had great pressure and the hot water was plentiful. Great communication with the host. It only takes about 5-10……

“This place was great for my family. The only problem I had is someone unplugged my vehicle from being plugged in. It’s an old diesel and it was cold barely started. No one was around to ask if it was as a them that did it. Cord was rolled up nice. Other wise great stay. ”

“This was a lovely home. The big screen TV was wonderful and having a main floor king bed was a big plus. We wished we had Kleenex and some real wine glasses. The bedding on the bed felt like camping bedding. I feel like the biggest impact for improvement would be new bedding on the king bed. Other than that we enjoyed it!”

“This little house by Lake Shawnee was a great launching off point for seeing family in the area, touring museums, and most of all resting from the Holidays. Walking the dog along the lake really helped me decompress from the Holidays and recenter and reset for the new year. The inside of the house was exceptionally clean. Backyard could benefit from a leaf raking. That said, I highly recommend this place.”

“Amazing stay and our best vacation home we've ever stayed in as a family. Clean, spacious, cozy, inviting, and like you never left home. They really did think of everything with this place. The layout is awesome, with bedroom right off the kitchen with en suite bathroom, 2 other bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom right around the corner from 1 of those bedrooms. “What a cool place this is, nestled in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood of Victorians and other older houses, with kids playing outside and kitties on front porches. Reminds me of my childhood a million years ago!
