“Instead of our usual day trips to Mentone, we decided to stay overnight. This tastefully updated bungalow was a welcome retreat for a long weekend. We found it to be pristine. The neutral country French decor was the right balance between rustic and refined. So relaxing! Before our arrival, the owners provided welcome suggestions for some new dining experiences outside of Mentone and Ft Payne. There is a sidewalk conveniently located outside the house, for a short walk to town. Communication……

“We have stayed at Moonflower many times. Every visit is wonderful. The house is always clean and welcoming. The fireplace makes everything so cozy. Appliances and bathrooms new. Beds are comfortable. And the house is within walking distance of Mentone Market. Highly recommend!!”

“Beautiful views in the morning over coffee and the sunsets were spectacular. Quaint small cottage for a short weekend stay in the area. The peace and serenity were most welcome for this trip. Host was very accommodating & easy to speak with. Saw many other cabins they have in the area, so will be booking again soon. Thank you Tony for the hospitality. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at The Garden Cottage. It certainly lives up to its name! We loved walking the property and seeing the beautiful plants and a little wildlife. The location is excellent because it is close to town, Brow Park (gorgeous sunsets!!), and DeSoto Park. The cottage itself is adorable and the perfect size. The kitchen was a dream come true and I enjoyed baking in the double ovens.. the living room is comfortable, the bathroom was plenty big, and the beds were very comfy. We hope……
