We were greeted with a fresh clean environment and beautifully decorated home. We had a relaxing wonderful stay. While you are in Mentone, don’t miss out on going to eat at the Mad Hatter Cafe. It was an awesome experience.”

“The cottage is super cozy, and comes with great amenities. The surrounding landscape is picturesque, and the cottage is surrounded by the pastures of super friendly goats, chickens, and horses. The location is great for trips to Rock City or Ruby Falls. ”

“4.5 stars. Very nice little bungalow, perfect for a couple. Located near everything, very clean and inviting, and complementary bottle of wine was a nice touch. There was a little confusion on which building we were in as there are two on the property (this is the Artist Haven) and the range top did not work, but that could have been user error. Both minor issues and would rent again.”

“This was the perfect graduation gift for our fifth grader! He (and mom and dad) are Harry Potter fanatics and this property was simply amazing! I told our family that the movie producers couldn’t have built a better set. Kristi and her family have dedicated the time and energy to bring these movies to life with so many details!”

“I can’t say enough about this property. It was excellent in every aspect. Amy gets an A for this one. She communicates very well with her guests and is extremely responsive to any issue that may arise (coffee maker quit working one morning and she had a replacement to us before noon).I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for quiet, peaceful and restful stay in Mentone. The screened porch was wonderful. Thanks again Amy and I hope to be back soon. ”

“The house is utterly charming. My kids (11 and almost 14) were so excited to find all the scavenger hunt items and see all the little hidden gems throughout. We did our sightseeing during the day and watched the provided DVDs and played board games in the evenings. There is a cute little gift shop with special trinkets on the property so bring cash in smallish bills to enjoy! There are several other properties that were so fun to see the exterior and explore the outside scavenger hunt too. ……

“We had a wonderful stay at The Garden Cottage. It certainly lives up to its name! We loved walking the property and seeing the beautiful plants and a little wildlife. The location is excellent because it is close to town, Brow Park (gorgeous sunsets!!), and DeSoto Park. The cottage itself is adorable and the perfect size. The kitchen was a dream come true and I enjoyed baking in the double ovens.. the living room is comfortable, the bathroom was plenty big, and the beds were very comfy. We hope……
