“The setting and surrounding area were great. Good hiking; the pool looked very nice. The room could have used some updating and maintenance. The sink faucet dripped and the shower control did not work properly; it was very tricky to regulate. Rust on the towel rack. The bathroom did not appear to have any ventilation causing a great amount of moisture build up when using the shower. The bed was comfortable. ”

“The location of this motel is ideal for spending days in and around the gorge. It is a no frills, few amenities motel. The bed was sleepable and the shower pressure and temperature where excellent. If you're going to be in and out of room to go hiking and climbing and just crash for evening it's perfect. ”

“This is a great place to get away from it all. The cabins have gorgeous views. This is a great place just enjoy the sounds of nature and views it provides.”

“Very relaxing. Thank you for decent beds because that makes all the difference. Just fyi the second step was slippery. Looks like it cracked awhile back. A mirror near a window for the ladies. But even if you don’t address these things, I’d still stay there again. Loved the loft deck. ”

“We liked it overall. No directions for fireplace. It may have been broken. Microwave handle was broken. Steps to loft were a bit steep for us older folks. Tough road to get up to cabin. Overall we were pleased with our stay.”

“my son, daughter and I wanted to explore the red river Gorge during spring break. We stayed at the property and it was fantastic. It had all the amenities we needed was located exactly where we wanted to be at in the gorge area. It was extremely easily to get in touch with the property managers. We love the outdoor fire pit right by the stream.”
