“Lovely property about 10. minutes from Oriental, NC. This sweet home is on a cul de sac, next to a Marina. We enjoyed taking the kayaks into the main river where we saw Dolphins and River Otter. Our pets were very happy with a large yard. We enjoyed fishing from the spacious dock. When we asked locals where they swim - they encouraged us to check the waterway reports before swimming. After we saw a jellyfish next to the dock and read about the bacteria, out of an abundance of caution, we chose……

“The photos and description are completely misleading. Photos are several years old from a realtor's listing in 2022 and apparently no upkeep has taken place since then. A few rooms were tolerably clean but there is exposed rat poison beside pots and pans, clutter and debris, half used food in the fridge and cupboards, etc., etc. We've filed a 9 page complaint with VRBO including lots of pictures asking for a refund. ”
