The castle Castello di Vezio is also worth a visit. From Varenna you can take boat trips to the opposite lakeshore to the charming town of Menaggio and drift along its alleys. The nearest public beach is a 10-minute drive from your accommodation (7 km). The nearest airport in Lugano can be reached in 90 minutes by car (41 km).
