“The staff at The Columns are extremely nice and helpful. The included breakfast has many nice options and is well-prepared. We had both a double room on the first floor and a balcony room on second floor in our party, and we much preferred the first floor. It’s more spacious, better laid out, and has high ceilings. The second floor is not great for tall people because there are so many low ceilings, and the rooms feel cramped. ”

“This is an adequate hotel but its on the wrong side of town. The walk to the riverside is down a busy road with occasion dogs roaming about. You can get a grab which is probably the best option . Probably not worth the money. Breakfast is poor ”

“This hotel had all the basic stuff you needed, and was clean, but something was just off about it. I am not sure about the atmosphere and perhaps because my sliding door wouldn't close all the way and I needed a staff to close it EVERY TIME but it was just OK. There was a big family party on the second night we stayed so we did have to listen to people howling (singing)until quite late. It was a but secluded and hard to get to at night time with all the surrounding ditches. ”

“Resort is not completely finished yet, but really clean and spacious. The restaurant was absolutely delicious. There were a lot of facilities on the resort you can use for free. We would recommend staying here.”

“The B Resort is a real good alternative to staying on the other downtown side of the river. Situated right on the river bank the location is good for Kampot. The staff is polite and friendly and the buildings are actually quite beautiful - like in an oldschool kind of resort way. Our room was also ok, with a terrace overlooking the Kampot River. But exactly here lies also a problem. Because by sunset the mosquitoes take over. Outside seating at this time is itchingly hard. But these little……

“Staff was excellent my room was really hot and they helped me to cool it for the night and a new room in the morning. Excellent bar and food prices too. ”

“Room initially given to us hadn’t been cleaned. Corrected the mistake quickly. Rooms are huge, clean. Gym was just on the first floor area and no aircon so limited how long you could exercise. Breakfast was ok but fairly limited unless you’re ok with noodles and fried rice for breakfast. Location was quiet and walkable to restaurants.”

Very friendly, helpful (arranged a good value return bus to Phnom Penh) and English-speaking staff. Many food options just down the street. “A fuir ! La chambre ne dispose d’aucune vraie aération (je dis « vraie », vous allez comprendre pourquoi), ainsi l’odeur dans la chambre et surtout dans la salle de bain était nauséabonde ! La chambre dispose d’un seul ventilateur qui brasse de l’air chaud, c’est difficile de trouver le sommeil !
