“The beach cottage is adorable. Built in the 50s it has so much charm. The front and back yard of cottage was so relaxing and quiet. Our little dog loved the relaxing also. The little gardens are beautiful.The beds were clean with nice sheets and pillows! It had everything needed for a comfy stay.The owner Donna is a kind lady, she met us there to go over details and let us in.Walking to eat and to the beautiful beach was a couple blocks. Ventura is a beautiful place.”

“We have been coming to Silverstrand for 30 years and love the nice cool beach and quaint neighborhood. We loved this beach house and would absolutely stay there again. It is basic, uncluttered, a little worn but comfortable. The kitchen is pretty small and the cookware is old but it’s all functional. The house gets a little warm but the owners provide large fans and with the windows and doors open it cools off very nicely. The bathrooms are nice and the outside shower was great for rinsing off……

The fire pit is a wonderful feature for the cool coastal nights. Every bedroom has access to the backyard which is nice. I would highly recommend this house.
