“A beautiful historic home. Being able to tour it was fun. Our room was above the dining area so it was a little noisy. Our only complaint was the early dinner reservation. We had hoped to dine later but there were no time slots available. Yet, the dining room was only half filled at the later time when we left. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay. ”

“Hotel was clean and the staff very professional and friendly. Was very disappointed in the breakfast options on 2 of the 4 mornings. We as well as about 15 other guests had to wait 5 - 7 minutes for food to be put out on one morning. The other morning, we only had the option of making waffles. No food was brought out for the last 40 minutes of the breakfast serving hours.”

“The historical house is beautiful on the inside. The proprieter is froendly and made a wonderful breakfast. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We will stay there again.”

“We stayed in Mae-Mae's Room at the Steele Cottage and it was great for our needs. Well appointed, conveniently located and easily accessible, yet removed from the core downtown area for privacy. The breakfast service at the Duff Green Mansion B&B was good for a first morning, but the 3+ block walk is not directly toward the main part of downtown and the river. I suggest equipping the Steele Cottage with bottled waters and snack items in each room for optimal convenience.”

“There was a woman that was yelling all night. She woke me up 4 times during the night. Someone was smoking in the elevator. The city of Vicksburg was very run down. There was the smell of smoke and weed throughout the city.”

“We love staying at Oak Hall!! The rooms are so comfortable and the pool was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back soon. ”
