“A lovely apartment overlooking Sooke Basin, clean and comfortable. The host is friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her. The apartment is on the upper floor ("eagles nest" and we saw an eagle), so be prepared to climb a long flight of stairs. Although called a B&B, breakfast is not made for guests but ample food is provided, so you can fix your own breakfast. The host went out of her way to meet our dietary restrictions. “Overall, our hosts Francois and Wynn were very welcoming and helpful with local amenities. The breakfasts that were presented were both nutritious and gourmet delicious. We found our bed a little too firm after the first night, so Wynn cheerfully added a “topper” for comfort.
