“Had a wonderful stay. The apartment is gorgeous! Getting in was a little bit of a challenge - the key was hard to get out and it was dark and pouring rain. But once we got in everything else was great. ”

“The stay was good over all , I just didn't lime the fact the the thermostat was lock and set to 70 . The house was pretty chilly then there was the rule of no shoes in the house . And the lack of hot water and no cable tv just internet. But thats just me other then that it was a ok stay we where not there for anything other then to Sleep . ”

“We had a lovely time on this trip. The house is spacious and the yard/location is great. The kitchen needed a few more things that we could have used but overall we would definitely return. There are no stores nearby so buy everything you need before arriving. You will not regret coming to this house. We made a lot of memories and enjoyed every minute. “ Our stay at Captain's Quarters in Maryland was simply incredible! From the moment we walked through the door, I was struck by how spotless everything was. “This house is huge and has lots of different indoor and outdoor gathering spaces so the kids and adults in our group of three families didn’t have to be on top of each other in one living space the whole time. Big firepit area and huge lawn were great, and we enjoyed the kayaks and canoe. There’s a place to buy fresh crabs, oysters, and shrimp very close by, and the house has everything you need for a crab night. The owner was incredibly responsive and kind.”

“We really had such a lovely time. The home was spotless and included so many little extras (like ziplock bags, snacks, spices and coffee). The beds were cozy and there were plenty of places to stretch out or enjoy the scenery from the deck. The game room was a real bonus to bond as a family away from devices. We were a short drive from some nice places to have lunch and breakfast. The location allowed us to take short day trips for scenic or historical walks. I had a few planning questions which……

“We had an weekend event at the Wimoco center, and booked this house. The house was clean, spacious and well maintained. The owner was communicative and helpful - he lives next door, but never intruded. The walk the the Wimoco center was about 3/4 mile, and was almost completely on sidewalks. We would definitely rebook in the future.”

“We had a great stay - we kayaked with a blue heron, enjoyed fresh eggs from the chickens, and loved the swing! The house is more spacious than we expected, and there is a crib and high chair for littles. A bald eagle and hummingbird made some appearances also. The screened-in porch is great if it gets buggy.
