Property manager responded immediately with answers to all questions before our arrival, and they were able to get everything ready to go despite wide spread power outages from a major ice storm in the area. Kitchen is well stocked, and the house is really close to many SML attractions. ”

We spent our nights in the hot tub and making a fire and our days visiting the Alpaca farm, a local vineyard, downtown Roanoke, and a few other places. “The house is beautiful. With four bedrooms on the main floor, it was convenient for our physically challenged family members. The entertainment system was phenomenal, we loved the downstairs rec area, and the views from the back deck were amazing. We only had two issues during our five day stay. One was that the propane tanks were empty but the owner resolved that right away. The second was a rude neighbor who yelled at us when docking the boat saying we were going too fast. “Our family had never been to Smith Mountain Lake VA and chose to come last minute because our planned trip to the NC mountains was canceled due to the hurricane. This house was PERFECT for our multi generational family from age 2 to 81! The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful and so very comfortable. The kitchen was an amazing gathering space and very well stocked. Living areas are super comfortable for people of all ages. We rented a boat from the marina and played putt putt and had ice cream……

“This incredibly well stocked, well thought out, well appointed, gorgeous gem of a home was perfect for our small family Thanksgiving. Any kitchen item you might need - there are several to choose from, including the host bringing over a turkey roasting pan so I didn’t have to bring mine. The beds, super comfy with lovely linens included. The property very well taken care off with so many amenities! Could not recommend more/a real treasure in a picture perfect location.”
