“It's a nice townhouse on the lake, can't really complain much about that. A few things to note. The downstairs bedroom is really cold (winter season of course) so you must be willing to keep a fire going if you want to stay down there. Also, the two queen beds felt more like full size beds to my wife and I. Smith Mountain Lake is a beautiful area, but be warned to get in out of of the area to other locations you will need to travel 15 minutes on very winding roads. And finally, there was a lack……

“Our family loved this home so much. Very clean, great signage and thoughtful personal touches throughout. The gravel path to lake was quite steep so beware. Unfortunately had some stink bug issues in the master bathroom, but .. the amount of fun with the dart board, dock and hot tub made it worth jt! We would return”

“Property was gorgeous! The pictures are pretty but they do not do this home justice. The view is outstanding. The location felt like we were tucked away but we were still very close to amenities. The home is perfect! Beds were comfy and we had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary cutlery and cookware, not something you see in most rentals. The guide we received upon check in was through and well written. Our hosts were quick to respond to our questions as……

“The house is the best rental property we have stayed. The house was spacious enough for 10 people. The dock and everything that was available to use was unbelievable. We used the kayak and pedal boat everyday. My adult children loved the basement gaming area and all it had to offer”

“This house has everything a family needs to relax and enjoy Smith Mountain Lake. The quiet cove make it feel safe while sitting on the large dock and watching children play in the small beach area. Hours of entertainment outside easily moved into comfort and amenities inside. No one ever felt on top of each other while we visited, prepared meals and played tournaments of foosball. The hosts have many special touches to truly help the vacation experience. Best vacation ever!”

“This property is in a great location with easy parking and accesibility downtown. The neighborhood has historical charm, and while the house is definitely older it does have basic amenities. My only 2 added comments are the kitchen isnt very well stocked if you were looking to cook (they did have a little coffee bar though!) And the beds are very soft, so not the most comfortable for adults!Nonetheless, the host was very responsive about towels and additional items for our stay. ”

“Everything was excellent except for the 2 smoke detectors that decided to chirp at 11:00 pm. We had a hard time gettting them disconnected, one we couldn't even get the battery door to open but we didn't have another battery to put in anyways. No fault of the owner. Maybe leave some 9 volt batteries around if it happens again. We loved the hot tub & all the game tables to use. The house was well maintained & very clean.”
