“The host was very communicative. The home was clean and everything was exactly as advertised. We are grateful for the lovely home that allowed us to bring our dog to a family wedding. ”

“What a house and perfectly situated on a mild incline to the water. I love staying at the lake, but I hate walking up and down several flights of steps. There were only about 5 or 6 steps to navigate outside of the house. Only thing that wasn’t ideal was the 3 bedrooms upstairs had to share a bathroom with a hallway entrance and bedroom entrance. We solved that problem by locking the hallway door and telling the teenage boys they had had use the downstairs bath. The kitchen is beautiful……

“Perfect house for our family of 5 and dog. The deck is shaded perfectly. The dock and cove are safe for relaxing on boards or floats. The 2 kayaks were great to have for exploring the lake. The house itself was cozy without feeling small. Lots of supplies for preparing meals at the house. ”

“The house was beautiful! There were 10 of us and everyone slept comfortably. The living areas were very spacious and we especially enjoyed the screened in porch as we sat in rocking chairs and listened to the rain each afternoon. We spent a fair amount of time cooking and found the kitchen to be well stocked. The walking path down to the water was perfect as we had several members in our group that struggle with stairs. “We had a wonderful 7-day stay at this fantastic vacation home on Smith Mountain Lake. The house was clean, spacious, and perfect for our family. One of our favorite spots was the screened-in porch—everyone enjoyed spending time there.Having two kitchens was a big advantage for preparing large family meals, and the egg grill was in great condition—we used it to cook one night and it worked perfectly.
