“Our family had an overall excellent stay at Magnolia Cove and would recommend it to anyone. The house was clean and in a great location (grocery store 10 minutes away). If the kids weren't in the pool, they were fishing at the dock. We had a very nice, relaxing week and were visited everyday by a herd of deer. There was also an ice cream boat that made its rounds during the day and evening.”

“Great view and access to a very nice part of the lake. We enjoyed the canoe and a swim and taking in the view from the seating in the yard. The house had a well furnished kitchen and comfortable mattress in the master bedroom. Need improvement on the paddles for the kayak and canoe - only broken and too short paddles available and only one kayak paddle, so we couldn’t go out together. ”

“This was a great stay for our family traveling from different states to attend a baby shower. This home offered us beautiful views and a great place to relax together and make more memories. Waking up to the serene lake views was the highlight of our trip. The entire home was spotless, and the host was incredibly welcoming. House is located right off the blue ridge parkway for easy access to hikes and right down the street from twin river outfitters. Great stay!”

“Our family throughly enjoyed our week at this beautiful property. Between the pool, hot tub, and lake our children and grandchildren had a great time. It’s a great location, close to marinas, restaurants and the town of Moneta. The home is well appointed and had everything we needed.On the downside the location is not safe for running or riding bikes because the road shoulder is so narrow. This can be alleviated by driving to the state park. The property advertises 17-20 people but there are 17……

“Loved the old school vibe. View was fabulous. Loved the boat dock. This house was well equipped with everything needed. Both sets of stairs were a bit treacherous - but we managed! Home was as described - except for the beds and bath- (only 1 shower, 1 bathtub). I was also unaware there was a king bed on this property- and we did not bring sheets for that one. I hope this property is updated with actual beds and needed bedding. I will definitely come back with more friends! ”
