“This is a beautiful and comfortable home. It is surrounded by rolling farm fields and mountain tops. The home is beautifully decorated. Bryan stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed, told us some of the history, and places to visit in the area. This was a great spot to stop on our way back north, and we will certainly stop again.”

“Ours was just a quick trip, but we still were able to see Natural Bridge, the Safari Park, and spend a day hiking and on the river. The little cottage in the woods had everything we needed and we are already talking about returning in a different season.”

“Wonderful cabin ”

“The property was incredible. If you are looking for a quaint and peaceful place to stay this is for you. The house was perfect, its was open, had exactly what we needed for a good stay, the appliances were great (I really needed to do laundry- so that was a must!), and I loved that it didn’t have a TV, the kids enjoyed being outside, playing in the bunkbeds and it was perfect. The hostess incredible as well. Just overall great stay, will absolutely be coming back to this property when we have to……

“Property manager was very kind, bathroom was well kept and delightful, cabin itself was clean, and the coffee pot was a great bonus.”

“The log cabin was a delightful surprise and a wonderful break from the noise and busy-ness of life. We loved sitting on the porch watching geese fly overhead, cows in the distance, and beautiful sunsets with the mountains in the background. The cabin is cozy and comfortable, and beautifully decorated. (Be sure to ask for detailed driving directions, our GPS couldn’t find it! We called Dennis and he talked us through finding the cabin until we arrived.)”

“We love staying here. The cabin is exceptionally clean which is very important to us. The location is excellent with easy access to Roanoke, Bedford, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin is well stocked, so that when guests arrive they are free with much of what they need for their stay.”

“Stayed here for a getaway after the holidays. Beautiful cabin, clean with all the amenities. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and fishing from the dock - caught a couple nice sized catfish. Hosts were readily available for any questions or minor issues. Will look to stay here again. ”
