“Perfectly positioned,lovely property, easy walking to both the old city and the modern one. Access to supermarkets(by car) and small shops by foot. Martine obviously lives her home, as a host she was perfect, available if needed but not intrusive. The pool is a big plus if you have teenagers. ”

“A lovely, cosy little oasis hidden in the back streets of the town, but just a 5 min walk to the heart of Bastide Saint Louis, and only 20 mins walk to the medieval Cite. Rooms nicely decorated, apartment very clean and well kept, kitchen well supplied, and with an excellent shower! Two supermarkets within 5 mins walk too, which we found very helpful. Recommended.”

(Do try The food especially Fred’s signature apple cake.) Apartment comfortable and great for a few days rest half way through out our around France. The 48 steps to the flat plus 18 to the bedrooms will keep you fit! Enjoyed Carcassone and La Cite. A great stay!”

“Lovely and relaxing stay, really well equipped for large groups to get away. Nothing fussy so an ideal choice for a large group with children - plenty of bits to explore and space to run around. Christian was really helpful and quick to respond to any questions, including introduction to chef Alain. Rafting near Foix recommended and a trip to Mirepoix market and the Carcassonne light show. ”

"Very good location, all staff are helpful and friendly. Room is clean and nice . I left a handbag on the chair in the bar, they help me to keep the bag and try to return to me. Th e car park is not in the hotel , you have to park the car in their parking lot, and call them come to take yr luggage and you walk 2 mins to the hotel."
