“The cabin is spotless and well appointed. We enjoyed our stay - our activities were mostly in French Lick, but it's not a bad drive, although it is VERY dark at night, lol. The weather was still nice enough in October that we were able to sit outside for awhile in the evening and enjoy the river view. We also traveled to Loogootee and enjoyed Stoll's Lakeview restaurant, the home-cooked meal was wonderful. A lighter weight blanket would be nice for the bedroom with the double bed - the quilt……

““The Getaway” was a good location to travel to other areas & see different things. The home was well stocked with everything you would need. Aubrey answered all questions and responded quickly. She even gave us some nearby things to do. ”

The kitchen amenities provided everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner with a quick stop at the local IGA and DGMarket to pick up the groceries. The process of booking our time, check in and out were all stress free. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. ”
