“We had a wonderful stay at The Christopher! The property is so charming! It was wonderful to walk out and either take a walk down to a beautiful residential area or head to Main St for shopping and dining! We especially enjoyed the round the clock coffee and tea, the afternoon delicious cookies and the bountiful breakfast with many healthy options! The staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant! We will definitely stay here again! ”

“Beautiful house, full of history. Great feeling knowing that one of our greatest Presidents once roamed the same hallways. The house is extremely well maintained. Bedroom very comfortable. Paul and Tracey go out of their way to truly make you feel at home. They are both welcoming and flexible. Breakfast to suit all tastes; fresh and delicious. Other guests were charming and a pleasure with whom to have shared the table. Enjoyed walking around town, and sitting in the garden under the trees……

“We absolutely loved the hotel and our stay and the team could not be nicer. One issue was that we were directly above the restaurant so it was noisy til 10pm..... I have a 4 year old so that was challenging. However the hotel offered to move us immediately to one of their other properties however my daughter refused to move as she said it was " the most beautiful room she had even been in and she couldn't leave her pink fishes (the gorgeous wallpaper)" (fierce words for someone who's mom……

“This place is an absolute gem. I have seen and stayed at this place since the early 80's. The new owners took over about 5 years ago. We needed a quick stay before our weekly rental. The rooms were spotless and nicely appointed. There were snacks and beverages in the room. The owners are super accommodating and very pleasant. ”
