“I had a very nice stay at this hotel while attending the Illinois State Fair. I stayed in the original part that was built for Route 66 traffic. The lobby and common areas has lots of Route 66 memorabilia to enjoy. The hotel and my room was very clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. My room was large. I believe the hotel was updated in the late1990s so the decor is a bit dated, but is in great shape. I had read a few reviews that said the hotel smelled, but this was definitely NOT……

“Clean, good breakfast, safe”

“Waste from last guest left on trash can. Toilet paper and tissue were almost used out. Apparently the housekeeper didn’t do her/his job well. The cleanness of the room is in doubt.”

“Our room was very clean and nice. Limited breakfast menu, but we made due. Sadly there was a truck in the other hotel parking lot that kept its engine running all night. Beds were comfortable. We would stay again. ”

“The room was in great shape, bed comfortable, shower and bathroom very nice, tv worked great. I used the bistro bar in the front everyday for breakfast and coffee. Closely located to main thoroughfare and restaurants. I will stay there again when I come to visit again.”
