“Truly a "getaway" in a peaceful setting. Host is nearby, if needed, in a beautiful historic farmhouse, but our stay felt quite "private" nonetheless. Very spacious lodgings in The Shouse would easily accommodate larger family groups. TV viewing space and game-playing space for all. ”

“We LOVEDDDD being here! The fireplace outside was awesome. All the kids (14,10,8,2) were taken care of. This home was beautiful, well taken care of, and we needed nothing. All the light switches were labeled and we really appreciated that! ”

“This was a fun little cottage perfect for me and a friend to get away for a weekend. The property provided enough space to do activities outside, including a short trail they have around the property as well as enough space to watch movies and play games inside when we weren't out and about doing things in the area. Definitely plan to stay here again if I do more trips to the Mcgregor area. ”

“We always enjoy our stay at the Jailhouse Inn. The only request I would have would be updated/new mattresses and an actual headboard for the bed in the Emma Big Bear suite. It's always clean. The shower is wonderful. Tidying up before leaving is never a problem. Thank you.”
