“What a truly great experience. Having been in Keene Valley in the same house 50 years ago, it was a pleasure to see it being cared for and run and such a beautiful way. Kelly, the manager, couldn’t have been More delightful. Preparing breakfast and always there for questions or advice on where to go out to dinner or tge next mountain to climb.. It was a perfect weekend and I’m looking forward to going back thank you Keene valley lodge.”

“We highly recommend the Bark Eater Inn!!!!! The Bark Eater Inn is in a beautiful, quiet location, minutes from everything!! My husband and I had no idea how much we were going to enjoy our stay, or we would have booked to stay longer!! The food is incredibly delicious. The host and hostess, Meghan and Tyler are warm, friendly, super people. They welcomed us into their home and encouraged us to explore the acres of property. They are spectacular people doing exceptional things with the Bark Eater……

“We stayed in the cottage. The location was beautiful and the view breathtaking. Our host Jeff was lovely, prepared a light healthy breakfast each day and always had a recommendation for our day trips. At first glance, the cottage was nicely furnished and neat. “We had a nice stay at the Mt Philo Inn. The hosts are so lovely and super accommodating. The East Suite is spacious and homey. It would be perfect for a family. We were given a perfectly curated basket with all the fixings for a Vermont breakfast which we greatly appreciated especially on this snowy weekend. The location is wonderful if you’re interested in hiking as you can walk right to the mountain which we loved. The hosts even supply sleds for a bit of winter fun! ”

“I stayed at the spacious property with 5 friends and 1 dog from 3 different cities. It was the perfect location to serve as a home base for all of our outdoor winter activities. The proximity to the mountains and 87 while in a tiny, quiet town was ideal. I highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!”

“We stayed with our dog for a few days. The place is simple and neat. The neighborhood was quiet. We went skiing one day at Whiteface which is about a 25 minute drive because you have to drive so far into the residential development. The place doesn't have a lot of extras - like a big screen tv or bluetooth speaker but that wasn't an issue for us. The place was clean but not luxury. But, the price reflects that appropriately. We would stay here again. ”
