“What a wonderful way to celebrate two family birthdays!! We can not say enough about how wonderful the accommodations were. The house was clean and cozy and the owner was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make sure that we had what we needed. The house is a short drive to Whiteface mountain and just thirty minutes to the quaint town of Lake Placid. We will definitely be back. ”

“We recently celebrated our cozy winter wedding at Grand Peaks Lodge, and it was better than we could have imagined. Gene was a fantastic host with a perfect collection of vendor recommendations to pull off a memorable wedding. The Lodge is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. We hosted 38 people with about 16 staying at the lodge… we could’ve easily fit more though! All of the rooms were comfortable and fully equipped, and the hot tubs were a welcomed way to wind down in……

“This was a great place to getaway and decompress. The owner was friendly and communicative. The property was as in the condition it was described. We had a great time and our morning routine of walking across the road to enjoy our coffee while looking out over the lake was thoroughly enjoyable. We would stay here again.”

“Overall this is a great location to explore New York and Vermont. Plenty of space to spread out and the kids enjoyed the pool and pool table. The boys liked having a workout room to keep up with their routine. Unique artwork through out the home. Home could have used a refresh clean before our stay as it may have had a gap between guests. It was heavy pollen season when we stayed and the owner had someone come out daily to keep the pool clean during our stay. Owner was easy to communicate with……

“I stayed at the spacious property with 5 friends and 1 dog from 3 different cities. It was the perfect location to serve as a home base for all of our outdoor winter activities. The proximity to the mountains and 87 while in a tiny, quiet town was ideal. I highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!”

“We stayed with our dog for a few days. The place is simple and neat. The neighborhood was quiet. We went skiing one day at Whiteface which is about a 25 minute drive because you have to drive so far into the residential development. The place doesn't have a lot of extras - like a big screen tv or bluetooth speaker but that wasn't an issue for us. The place was clean but not luxury. But, the price reflects that appropriately. We would stay here again. ”
