“The property was easy to find using the directions provided by the host. The house was very clean and had everything and more that we could need. The view is definitely the star of the show. It was absolutely beautiful. We had a wonderful stay and would love to go back again someday!!”

“Great place to stay for the weekend. Place was quiet and peaceful. The house furnished well with great amenities. Fishing and kayaking from off the dock. Also life jackets available for the kids for safety as well. Catching crabs off the docks, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding. The house has nice deck in the back where we enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon and evening activities playing corn hole, and spent good time sitting in front of fire pit was great. It was pleasure to stay spent……

“It was just a quick getaway with my husband and the room and grounds were wonderful!The host couldn’t have been nicer, nor more accommodating! The bed was great, amenities plentiful, and the room was beautiful. The neighborhood as ideal for our power walk. And…..the view!!!! The seating area on the dock was our favorite place for morning coffee and nightcaps!!We will definitely be back!!”

“This was our third trip to this house.....we love the location, it is private and picturesque...we got to see the bald eagles again!!!!!! WE love the 30 second walk to the beach and the calm water of the bay! The local environment is also beautiful...especially the towns of White Stone and Kilmarnock and the local marinas. “Tthe history of the property itself was amazing. Not to mention the surrounding area. The house was near to the community but also far enough out to be very quiet and peaceful. We loved the open floor plan of the main level but if you have issues with mobility, accessing the stairs to the second floor may be an issue. ”

“This house has beautiful views and it was only about 45 min to Williamsburg. It is on Hills Bay, which flows into the Chesapeake Bay. The water is very shallow and would be great for younger kids. We brought kayaks and enjoyed our time on the water. It would be fantastic for someone that owns a boat too. The water doesn’t have many waves, but we tied a party size float to part of the dock and all the kids, ages 10-19, loved our time there. Since I’m the first review, I think I might be the first……
