“We greatly enjoyed our time at the Doctor's Cottage. The quaint and clean retreat is located in an idyllic spot for a relaxing time away from everyday stress. The lake lives up to it's name. The depth around the dock is just right for wading, playing, or jumping into a kayak. Our host communicated clearly and quickly, displaying a sincere desire for a pleasant stay.”

“The location was good for our tour of Hillsdale College. Hadn't been to Michigan before and the countryside is beautiful. I wish the trip could have been later in the Fall when the colors come out because that would be awesome. Very nice place to get away and relax. ”

“Easy check-in and check-out. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Very clean. Golf cart was very helpful with taking our elderly mother down to the lake to watch us kayak and paddleboard. Hot tub was Great!!”

We especially loved the location of this property. It was located off the main road but had waterfront views and grass for the kids to play. “Everything was just as it's listed. This was a nice place to stay at for the weekend. I can agree with another review the shower head is low for a taller person. But other then that it this place way amazing clean, had everything you would need. The location is perfect.”
