“We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. ”

“Absolutely fantastic place to stay, the whole set up from booking, arrival, checkout is flawless. The information pack sent was really easy to understand, facilities for a shepherds hut are like a 5star hotel. Really well designed, you have a decent kitchen area with space to prep some food and everything you need is in the hut bathroom/shower is super nice, hot hot water and amazing pressure! Attention to detail was perfect, little treat for the dog on arrival, firewood. Space for the dog to……

“It's a lovely and cosy cabin. Located in a very peaceful place. Dog friendly field where you can let the dog off the lead.Very close to Barmouth and Harlech. The cabin is clean. Some spiderwebs but nothing major. ”

“I was misled by the search criteria - putting in dates i needed. Then booked in for different days. Yes, i should have checked. But i know my search criteria had correct dates and didnt know it would have offered outside criteria. Luckily one property was vacant and i was given that. I was grateful. BUT i have to say the cost was at least double to what would have been a fair Off grid is one thing, but for that expense i was expecting a shared fridge and some solar lighting/electricity!! Rip……
