“My 2 daughters and I have been under a lot of stress lately and I wanted to find a peaceful place for us to get away for a weekend. Just needed to rest, relax and reset. 'Thyme Away' gave us exactly what we needed. Our hosts Holly & David were wonderful. They left us homemade bread and farm fresh eggs and even went a step further by getting me gluten free muffins after I told them that I had celiac disease and unfortunately couldn't enjoy the homemade bread. Beyond kind. We loved our stay!”

“Great stay! The house is equipped with everything! Extra spices and oils for cooking; shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers; outdoor toys; and more! Beautiful master bedroom and bath. House is located in a great location, so much to do all around. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and using the outdoor grill to cook. Beautiful sunsets at the front of the house! Bonus: deer on the property every evening! We had a great stay here and will definitely stay again! Thank You Peter and Kathy”

“This was our last family get away before my kids left for college. The lake is beautiful and the house is perfectly situated on the west side (which we prefer). Recommend visiting Dr Frank vineyards and eat at Park Inn. If you are planning on cooking bring stuff from home. Not a lot in terms of grocery stores. We rented a boat which was perfect for our trip. Host is lovely. And you cannot beat the views! ”

“The Retreat was exactly that for me and my family; a place to decompress from our busy lives and jobs. The surrounding forest and silence worked perfectly for us. A week of sitting around a firepit, playing board games, and sneaking into Hammondsport or Watkins Glen for a quiet dinner or a little browsing made for the perfect family vacation.”

“Perfect getaway for a nine person family reunion. Walkable to the village, the beach. Backyard pool perfect for the children. House was large enough so that everyone could find their nook…dining room seated nine with room to spare. Marche has thought of everything. We would give our overall experience 10+++.”

“A beautiful cabin located between Hammondsport and Penn Yan. The cabin is stocked with essentials to get you through your stay. The pond was a hit wth my boys. The cabin has a nice deck but no furniture to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The hot tube is also not functioning. Just a reminder water in this area has a sulfur smell but nothing you can do about it. Please note the property land management team is Vacaso so you will be charged a double processing fee if booked through VRBO!”
