“We had a lovely stay at the Grape Escape. While it is truly roughing it, all our needs were met and the host was easy to contact if we needed anything. Hammondsport was an awesome town, with nice options for food, drinks, and vibes. Great food everywhere we tried, but Portside Bistro was our favorite. ”

“This is a great cabin to rent. Very clean on the inside. Next to a pond, where you can hear frogs and birds. It’s located within 10-15 mins of civilization, if you need supplies or want to see sights. I’d highly recommend. ”

“The cabin was exactly what we were hoping to find, very secluded yet close to everything we were planning to do. Very comfortable and with all the extra little touches that made it feel homey. We loved sitting and watching all of the wildlife around the bird feeder each morning while having breakfast. Phyllis was very accommodating and really goes the extra mile to make your stay perfect!”

“We enjoyed our stay. The fact it was back a driveway made for nice privacy. We enjoyed the level yard and that it was right on the water. The kitchen was we'll supplied and overall very spacious. It was decorated very tastefully and we enjoyed the back veranda. Beautiful spot to sit and sip coffee in the morning. We would have enjoyed some screens in the windows so that we could have opened the windows and sliding glass doors as the weather was perfect. ”
