“We enjoyed our stay in this charming house, right in the heart of Chincoteague island. It was spotless upon arrival, and we were thrilled to have been able to bring our dogs along. The large fenced-in yard was such a pleasant surprise! Perfect for the dog-loving beach-going family!”

“We had an amazing time at the purple door! We wrre able to brimg our fur baby which was a HUGE plus. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. I arrived knowing we made a good choice. Its a very cute little place. There was never a claim to be a luxury, upscale rental. Yes there could be a few updates. The air conditioner worked fine for us in a heatwave. In fact, it was a little chilly. I would go back for the views and location.We loved havimg access to the pools. Met some really……

“We booked this at the very last minute so we could clean out our father’s home (he passed the week before). It was perfect for our needs. One caution…the grass has tiny little burrs that stick to socks and flip flops. Nothing to do about them but if you have a dog, check their paws. We were even able to add an additional night easily when the clean out took longer than we expected. I would recommend!”

“Perfect location and very comfortable house. We had three adults and a child with us and all had space so we weren’t crowded but still could gather for meals. The screened porch was lovely. Watching sunrises from the pier in the morning was beautiful and we even saw dolphins swim by.”

“Great time til I got sick hated having to leave early.loved seeing all the foals will be in touch now out of hospital about some jewelry I may have left in the house.The front room bedroom took a little getting use to only thing I would change is a way to cover the skylight in the main bedroom.”

“My family loved the house it had everything we need plus extra stuff I am not dissatisfied price was right and my entire family felt at home. The outside shower was amazing maybe it just needs to be clean just bit of stains of mud spider webs but other than that nothing but good things about this place may God bless the owners ”
