“This was my husband and I’s first trip to Gettysburg. We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing time. This was mostly in part to the McKinney family’s wonderful hospitality with allowing us to rent their beautiful home. It was just what we needed for my husband and I and our furry family. It gave us all the luxuries of home and more! We ate in a few nights and their fully stocked kitchen allowed us to do just that. The neighborhood was awesome! “Perfect location! Far enough away from the busy hustle and bustle, but close enough (10 min) to take multiple trips into Gettysburg throughout each day. Love being able to drive past so much history on our way in! Owners were wonderful about allowing us to have our pets! Only surprise was no access to washer and dryer and no grill. I should have paid attention to the listing better! Didn't put a dent in our trip though! Home was extremely clean and very welcoming! We loved sitting on the porch……

“Great location! My mom and I absolutely loved the General’s Hideaway for our trip to Gettysburg. We even loved the pool table and played a few games. We brought my Mom’s service dog with us and the hosts made sure to include a bed and supplies for him if needed, which was very sweet of them. We brought food to cook during our stay and finding everything in the kitchen was a breeze! We loved the layout. The beds were extremely comfortable as well. Danielle and Jeremy made the whole check in……

“The Creekfront Nature Retreat is a lovely home with a spectacular location. We had especially good weather so the fire ring and kayaks were well used. The S'mores makings were an unexpected treat. The kitchen had everything we needed, and bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.”
