“This was a delightful getaway for my in-laws, who live a couple hours away and are getting too old for the rigors of camping. The host, Vickie, went above and beyond to accommodate them and make them feel at home. That meant helping them find their way to the property, and after they departed, mailing something to them they had left behind. The house and the host were everything you could ask for, and we would highly recommend. ”

“Quiet hideaway up a private drive. There were only two homes at the end of the drive and I rented both of them for family attending a wedding. The wedding venue was about an eight minute drive, so the cabin was a perfect location, and close to the hanging rock park as well. Highly recommend.”

“Me and my boyfriend stayed at this cabin for two nights for a weekend trip for the nascar race in martinsville. The cabin was very clean and organized and the property was beautiful. The hosts were so great and so helpful, they made sure we had everything we needed and more. We had access to a bathroom at the main house that was about a 3 min walk which was clean and kept up with. There was also a pickleball court which was very enjoyable as the weather was beautiful. Overall,we loved this place……

“2 adults, 2 kids and a dog. Only spent a night but the blueberry orchard was flowering and the bees were active pollinating making for an excellent respite from 2 long drives. ”

“This is our 3rd consecutive year staying. Love everything about this place!! Especially the bath towels. I need to know where I can buy these.”

“Clean and nicely furnished. In a beautiful location 10min from Hanging Rock State Park. The fire pit/ grill area is the perfect hangout spot. Excellent communication by the owners. Highly recommended. ”

“My family rented this house for three nights in October 2024 for a wedding. Here are the issues we encountered: Misleading Location: The map pin shows the home as being in the heart of Mount Airy, but it’s actually a 30-minute drive away. Our two kids elected to stay in town instead. Non-functional Amenities: The hot tub and fireplace didn’t work during our stay, and no repairs were made. Missing Essentials: The house lacked basic items like luggage racks (or any place to put your stuff that……
