“not a good time to check in, no service at all after Christmas day, the worst is hotel did not send me the check in information, eg. entry code, room no., etc. Then, as a overseas tourist, cannot have a local phone for this purpose, have to ask another room customer how to check in. “The only thing that stopped me giving a 5 for this stay was that the vroilet was leaking. It was so close and convenient to where i needed ro be, the room was clean and comfortable. “The Pub was well run, multiple areas to eat with family and friends, some areas outside, great for kids, quieter areas inside for a chat and coffee and very good meals. There was Parking for at least over 10 cars at the rear even though the web says there is not. The garbage bay out side in the lane car entry needs a good clean and hose out. All doors in the accommodation need rubber strip silencers to stop them banging / slamming closed and some had to be pulled to actually close as too many……
