“Had a wonderful stay! Very clean, beautifully decorated, with attention to detail. Location was excellent, especially for walks along the dock, with many restaurants in close walking distance. Only critique, was the thin floor/ceiling, could hear down stairs neighbors walking on the hard wood floors and their television while in the bedroom. I put on the fan to create white noise to help minimize the noise. Outside of this, it was a perfect stay.”

“The keyword here is LOCATION. This cottage is perfectly located. Right on the beach. Walking distance to an adorable market with restaurants, entertainment, shops and ice cream. It's also perfectly situated to hit a ferry to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard. It's a couple minutes drive to a fantastic new walkable shopping place with excellent restaurants. Cottage itself is very nice. Bedrooms and bathrooms were fine, kitchen was well stocked. Check out was a cinch. Perfect place for our family……

“Absolutely fantastic stay, the place was immaculate on arrival complete with everything we needed to enjoy our time there. Bob was easy to get hold of, if required, and all joining instructions were easy to follow. This place was a real find and the location on Main Street was second to none. Highly recommended.”

“We had a fantastic stay at the Gem of the Ocean! You couldn’t ask for a better location: walkable to pretty much everything in OB, very close to the bus if visiting other towns, and amazing views. The unit itself is quite spacious, particularly the master. We were two adults and two teenagers and had enough space for a week. Kitchen are bathroom are fine, nothing fancy but no problems. We lucked out on weather so didn’t need a/c in the master. And while there are ample fans, I could see it being……

“Rachel was a great host. Any questions I had she had answers. The location was excellent. We were straight across the street from a great restaurant and the beach. The location was also in the middle of a lot of places on the South Shore. Driving distance to Plymouth and Hingham. Rachel also provided some wonderful suggestions for restaurants. “The location was great - short walk to restaurants, short walk to bike rentals and then ride down a paved trail to Woods Hole for lunch or to get the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. The house is adorable, comfortable and has everything you need. We had coffee on the patio (cushions provided but not shown in my photo) and played board games at night. Honestly it’s even better and more spacious than the photos reflect. ”
