“We were excited about our stay at Rice Lake! But the house had a few problems and it made our stay less enjoyable. The small A/C unit is located in the living room area and not in the bedrooms. So every night was hot, and unable to cool the rooms properly. Second problem was the washer failed on the 2nd day of our stay and the owners did not fix the problem. They sent out someone to tell us they're working on purchasing a new washer but this forced us to go to the another laundry. It also……

“Very spacious. Lots of room for six adults and three children. The fenced back yard was great as we had a toddler with us. We even saw a pair of swans with their young passing by on the river. Groceries were available close by if we needed anything. We all agreed we had a great time. Would recommend it for families.”

“This is a lovely cottage, beautiful views, great area. I do however have some things I wasn't happy with, mostly the beds. The beds were not comfortable, most of us did not sleep well. That to me is the whole point of renting a place to stay, is to sleep, if the beds aren't comfortable, I won't be coming back. Also, the place wasn't very clean. Every kitchen drawer and cupboard I opened definitely needed cleaning. The amount of dead bugs in the light fixtures was just gross to be honest. ……

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this beautiful modern cottage. Some things that we wished we had were basic day to day items such as more towels than 1 per person, and there were no kitchen towels to dry the dishes. We also wished that there were more chairs in the dining room, considering the number of people that the cottage can host. We found that the dish washer was not fixed to the cabinets, so the whole thing would tilt over as we were loading the dishes, which was sometimes very dangerous……

Easy check in process with excellent communication.Well stocked kitchen products with coffee annd additional anppliances. Very comfortable beds. Very nice quality bed linen mattresses and pillows. Quiet neighborhood 6 minutes to Trenton.”
