“Cabin was smaller than I thought it would be. Was very cozy though as pictures showed. We chose this place for the wood burning fireplace. The stairs are pretty steep to the upper level so be careful. We came when there was still snow and ice so steps were very slick. Part of the road to the cabin is not paved so it took a second to find it. “We loved our stay at this cabin! It was clean, had lots of soft blankets, a lovely propane stove, and was very well stocked with everything we would have expected for a vacation rental. The owner was very communicative and accommodating. The Tollgate community was easy to navigate and had some great trails for taking walks in the snow. We will definitely keep this cabin on our list for future stays! ”

“Wish we could have modified our stay to really enjoy it. The description had "bike's " and their is just one bike that is pretty old looking. The linens I felt could be upgraded to match the price point and the queen bed mattress should be updated as well. Otherwise we enjoyed the environment and watched the Olympics.”

“The property could not be much nicer—right on the banks of the Metolius, lush lawn, and fragrant pines. It sits just behind Hola Restaurant and a short walk from the little store. Contrary to the property listing, there is no Dish TV—there is a 43” (not 36”) internet connected TV but you should be prepared to stream from your own device. Obviously TV will not be your first concern if you stay here but there were some big sporting events on during my week and it was a struggle to watch them.……

“The day of arriving to the cabin was told they were having soler panel issues, they knew this in advance because the outs in the cabin had tape over them which wasn't new. They had an extension cord running next to the shower and out the window so anyone taking a shower could possibly be electrocuted by touching it, and it definitely did meet code. I was bitten up by bugs in the cabin because there are gaps in all the windows, either from electrical cords running into the windows or by badly……

“This is such a beautiful place, it’s like staying inside a park. The cabin itself is beautiful and relaxing with a rock fireplace. Being able to enjoy a glass of wine on the amazing outside deck with the Metolius River flowing by is priceless. One night we BBQed steaks in our backyard park while enjoying the surrounding landscape. Truly one of our favorite places to be.”

“Overall we enjoyed our stay. It would have been perfect except for a couple minor details. The house was freezing cold on our arrival on Friday night. The bathroom only had one bath towel for two adults for two nights. No soap at any of the wash basins. Ignoring this, it was a lovely place to get away. We were provided with Duraflane logs and had a cozy fire.”
