“We truly enjoyed the location. Watching the boats and kids play on the water was entertaining. Relaxing, that was what we were looking for, a place to get away. The house was smaller than described, we made it work. Enjoyed eating on the deck every night. The host was great to work with very accommodating. Easy to find and access. The house was more lived in, not set up for guests to rent, again it was not difficult to make it work for us. We will be renting this home again. ”

“Myself & 3 friends all stayed for our yearly fishing trip. We fished & kayaked from the cabin to Lone Star Marina, was about a three hour trip. We also spent a lot of time at the Harry Truman State park & dam fishing. All in all it was a great trip.”

“The cabin itself was very cozy and worked perfectly for our stay. I know if we were here in the regular season it would be amazing. However, since it was the off season and in a super cold snap there was some issues with keeping hot water. But we loved it. The people were great. The property managers were very nice and thoughtful. We were able to visit our family and it worked out great. I am happy to recommend this place to others. ”
