“Darnel did an excellent job with communication and answered every question quickly by text or call. Truly above and beyond. Our stay was adventurous and relaxing. A very nice getaway from KC. Our trucks were able to reach the property easy and I would recommend a truck or SUV. The locals in the area were kind and quiet. It was enjoyable to have a fire in the pit and there was plenty of wood around to use, with several fallen trees close by. The a-frame itself was cozy and peaceful. It got cold,……

“This cabin is amazing. Spotless and welcoming. All I wanted was privacy and a sunrise on the water. This had all! Spectacular sunrise and so private and quiet. Definitely worth a second visit. ”

“This was an amazing vacation retreat. The cabin was incredible with its warm woodwork throughout and was beautifully decorated with antiques, lending to the ambiance of a true cabin in the woods. It only gets better when you step outside and take in the stunning view of the lake and secluded landscape from the big wrap-around covered porch. “This cabin had everything we needed for the stay. Including dishware, cooking utensils, appliances, propane grill, soap, toiletries, toilet paper, towels, trash bags, plastic bags, etc. very well stocked. There were even complimentary adult beverages. Our FAVORITE part of the cabin would have to be the deck. It was HUGE (and covered!) we were on it all day and into the night. The views cannot be described.!The deck has a table that we had breakfast at with our girls and then lounged in the……

“We stayed at the Rusted Barn due to proximity to our desired boat ramp for spoonbill season at the Ozarks. Everything was adequate and ready for our arrival. The only issue (minor) we encountered was the beds were all super squeaky! If you're a light sleeper, be ready. We would still stay here again and it still rated 5 stars. The cookies on arrival were great!”
