“I love this place! I stayed on a wim to be close to work and fell in love with the whole experience! The staff is so kind and answer questions promptly. The cabin was such a neat experience! Talk about the only way to camp!! They think of EVERYTHING even fire pit supplies and a smores kit!! And the view!! I got to watch deer walk by after watching it rain. It was so peaceful. I can't wait to go back!”

“The propery was very nice. The rooms were great and we loved that there were fans and AC units in all the rooms. The area was decently quiet. We spent most of our time on the screened porch for meals and just hanging out. Love that it was pet friendly and that we could bring our dogs”

“Darnel did an excellent job with communication and answered every question quickly by text or call. Truly above and beyond. Our stay was adventurous and relaxing. A very nice getaway from KC. Our trucks were able to reach the property easy and I would recommend a truck or SUV. The locals in the area were kind and quiet. “This was an amazing vacation retreat. The cabin was incredible with its warm woodwork throughout and was beautifully decorated with antiques, lending to the ambiance of a true cabin in the woods. It only gets better when you step outside and take in the stunning view of the lake and secluded landscape from the big wrap-around covered porch. Although the inside is warm and inviting, most of our time was spent outside enjoying the quiet tranquility of the nature that surrounds it. The cabin is……

“We stayed at the Rusted Barn due to proximity to our desired boat ramp for spoonbill season at the Ozarks. Everything was adequate and ready for our arrival. The only issue (minor) we encountered was the beds were all super squeaky! If you're a light sleeper, be ready. We would still stay here again and it still rated 5 stars. The cookies on arrival were great!”
