4 Beds new built, wasaga beach

Summary:
The house is located in the wasaga beach area, which is a famous beach in Ontario and is heavily visited in the summer. The newly built community has just been handed in, but the roads in the community have not been paved, and many houses are being built nearby. Dust and sediment will be a problem for the community in the next two or three years. This suite is located in a good location, the backyard is directly facing the greenery and the small lake, so there is relatively less sand.

The Space:
There are 4 rooms on the 2nd floor, 2 of which are suites A and D, B and C shared washrooms, and all three washrooms have baths.

On the 1st floor, enter the door and turn left to the dining room, go straight ahead to the kitchen on the left and the living room on the right.

The washer dryer is on the 1.5 floor, which is half a flight up the stairs.

The basement is a walkout, the whole ground level, but is not decorated, so it is not available to enter for all visitors

5 minutes drive to the beach, 15 minutes walk to the beach.
No smoking, drugs, including cigars
No littering

The house was clean and well-maintained, but we were very disappointed by a major issue with our stay. The listing stated that we were renting the entire house, but when we arrived, we discovered that someone was living in the basement. The host did not inform us of this beforehand, and the basement door could not be locked from our side, which made us feel unsafe. While the person living downstairs was friendly, this was not what we booked or expected.We reached out to the host for an explanation and a partial refund, but they did not respond. The lack of transparency and communication was frustrating. If you’re looking for true privacy, this may not be the best option.

Bright, large house with lots of space. Photos are accurate, however the kitchen is very sparsely outfitted. Despite sleeping space for 8 people, it would be hard to cook for 8 with the minimal cooking pots/pans provided. Location is about 15 mins from the main beach area, and the neighbourhood is still under construction, but otherwise easy to find and close to amenities. It suited us well for the weekend.

The house matched the pictures well. Gorgeous view off the back of a pond with fountain and geese. Couldn’t get Netflix to work, required a code manager didn’t know. Cutlery dollar store, though dishes were nice. Not enough cooking supplies, we had to buy a pot. Main issue was house wasn’t ready at check in time and got left unfinished. Had to find our own towels and toilet paper. Garbage bags left in room. Wet laundry still in machine. Left dishes in dishwasher and on counter.

Beautiful house, very clean and lots of space, however the two twin beds were rock hard and impossible to sleep on. Area was very safe and new, however transportation is difficult if you do not have a car, and waiting for an uber can be up to 40 mins. Owner was kind and easy to reach, would stay again! Thank you
