“We stayed in Bayfield for 3 nights and this house did not disappoint. It’s just a few miles north of downtown Bayfield, and is nestled in the woods in the Brickyard neighborhood. The house is very well cared for, clean, with quality appliances, linens, and bedding. This house is also tastefully decorated without a lot of knick-knacks cluttering up the space. Everything is comfortable in the house and it’s a very quiet area. There is a beautiful screened porch but it was too chilly for us to use……

“Beautiful ”

“Purple Waves is a comfortable and well appointed house to get away from it all. A huge window overlooks the lake, It's a mesmerizing show moment to moment as the  light and weather shift throughout the day. We stayed the second week of April and the area was quiet and empty -- quite peaceful.Everything is as described in the property listing. A big plus is the house guide notebook which is very detailed and contains local attractions and amenities. The section on local hikes is particularly well……

“This was a cute cabin along the south shore of Lake Superior, a quick bike ride to a couple of smaller towns and about 25 minutes to Bayfield. There is a short walk to a beach cove which is secluded and beautiful. Less than a 10 minute drive to Hidden falls hike which was gorgeous! The host was very responsive and flexible, and the place was clean and organized. Would definitely spend time here again! ”
