“Our family of 2 adults and 9 children stayed from Friday to Sunday. The first blessing is that our children could play as normal and we did not have to think about neighbors in the room next door or even the house next door getting mad. Second, it is SO PEACEFUL out here! We did not use the canoe, though it is offered. Every room was fantastic in this cabin. We highly recommend this place.”

“I rented this property for myself and three other family members to stay at for a family reunion that was happening in the area. We loved this property! The pictures do not do it justice. It was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. And soooo peaceful! It is a bit remote but that is exactly what we wanted. We enjoyed sitting for hours on the large back deck that overlooks the river. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors and it was a great place for other family members to come……

“I was hesitant to stay here because of the reviews. As a woman in her 40's who travels alone, I like to be cautious. Ultimately though, my sole purpose for going to Murfreesboro was to spend a few days digging in the park. This site is right down the road and the price was right.Although dated, the cabin was clean. The bathroom was also dated, but also very clean. As far as other complaints in reviews about mold, Arkansas gets very hot and humid. Fighting mold is always going to be an ongoing……

“The house is exactly as described. It was fantastic for us wanting a secluded stay away from the big city. We had 7 people 18 and 2 people under 16. Our only real complaint was there were not enough pots/pans to cook for the number of people the house slept, so we had to cook in shifts. But the house itself was so fun! And they accommodated our two dogs which made the trip even better.”

“The kids had a great time going through the little woods that were by our cabin and found some very interesting things. We did forget some seasonings but the cabinet was stocked with plenty of that and there was plenty of towels and pillows. Overall it was one of the best places I have been in.”

“The first thing I noticed was how clean and well put together the property was. Inside the cabin was spotless, making me feel like I was the first person to ever stay in it. The cabin was stocked with the essentials, just as listed. The lake access is about half a mile from the cabin. There is a Walmart near by, a few fast food and restaurant stops, and some cute antique stores in town. My only "complaint" is the neighborhood is a little run down with older homes and some (looked to be vacant)……

“We had a perfect week here for our annual family vacation. Enjoyed the river and peace and quiet. Went and dug for diamonds at diamond crater state park, shopped the little stores in Murfreeboro and enjoyed a fun week with my family. 20 outta 10 ”

“This is a beautiful property with peaceful river views and a spacious, impeccably clean home—more than enough room for our group of four (2 people, 2 dogs). It’s a great spot to relax and unwind. The only small note is that some of the trees have grown in a bit, so trimming them would help restore the full scenic view seen in the listing photos. Fishing enthusiasts should know the riverside deck is set back and elevated, so bringing a long-handled net will make landing a catch much easier.……

“The road to get down into the cabin was a little rough, but it had just come a big rain. The cabin was the perfect location for our group that wanted to diamond mine and spend a day in Hot Springs. We would definitely stay here again. ”
