The steps into the bathroom and bedroom were illuminated and the upstairs loft was a cool getaway for our teenager.Recommend taking a bigger vehicle that can take a rough gravel road.”

Place is cute and our kids liked the bunk bed room.In winter, the house was really cold and drafty though (standing at kitchen sink, air blows cold onto one’s feet despite having heat on in the house). “We needed a place to house our extended family of 9 for a few days near Newburgh and Fishkill. This place was perfect! There was plenty of space for everyone, and everything about the house and property was top notch. We also visited Cold Spring and Beacon, both of which are cute little towns with lots of character. The backyard firepit came in handy too when we entertained some local friends. Ida and Matt were great hosts and were responsive to our every question and need. If/when we are back……
