“The house was clean and bright. Linens were crisp. Towels smelled fresh. We had a wonderful stay, despite the initial surprise of not being on the water. We were quite disappointed due to the misleading nature of the property listing. There are photos of the backyard, followed immediately by photos of the beach. The listing shows the beach pictures and states, “beach view..steps to the beach.” The beach is a short walk down the road – but not what it appeared to be in terms of the listing. The……

“The listing states a 1 bedroom, don’t be confused thinking there is a room with a door and then another room, as it’s just a single room with a bed. There was one gentleman that was very blunt and rude with his words. I unfortunately dealt with him prior to my visit, via phone, and once I got there. However, I had interaction with two others and the experience with them was very pleasant! Breakfast staff was extremely welcoming and friendly! “The cottage was welcoming & super comfy. Great balance of beachy cottage & needed amenities. And the outdoor space? PERFECTION!! The lake view is a whole vibe & the comfy chairs & swings & tablespace make it almost impossible to go inside. Communication with hosts was simple & friendly & thorough & timely. Thus cottage experience is a true gem”

“We stayed at this house for the weekend and found that it had the bare essentials we needed for a short stay—nothing fancy, but it got the job done. The owner let us extend our checkout and the hot water was excellent—long, hot showers were a big plus, especially after running a half marathon! What really stood out was the owner’s communication—responsive, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. ”
