“The property was wonderfully located with a beautiful view. It was also exceptionally clean and very well renovated. There were a few nice local restaurants/bars which made the stay even nicer. The only item was when I was told that we parked in the wrong place I responded and indicated the home was wonderful. I never heard back - just kind of seemed weird. I like having a personable connection with the owner but didn't necesarily feel that way here. But still a wonderful stay!”

“This was exactly what we were looking for: private, clean, relaxing, and close enough to explore the Madison area. There are lofts in two of the bedrooms. Sleeping in the lofts was a trip highlight for my kids! I recommend air mattresses if you want to use the lofts for sleeping. We had everything we needed for cooking dinner and breakfasts, and plenty of towels and bedding for six people. Highly recommended!”

“Low water pressure - only could use 1 shower at a time. Septic Alarm went off on Saturday - driver could not find us. Every thing else was eccellent.”

“The location was a plus. Close enough to town but far enough to enjoy the peaceful lake setting. My husband enjoyed fishing right off the dock and having several poles and supplies was a plus. . Having a canoe too for use was great. We took the canoe out and spent several hours on the beautiful a lake. The cottage had the amenities to make our stay complete. We hope to be back again! ”

“The back deck of the house looking over the lake was very peaceful and beautiful. The house was open and spacious with plenty of room in the kitchen to cook and a table for the family to eat at and play games. The steps from the parking area down to the house were challenging. There are a lot of steps and they are a little uneven. The steps inside to the walkout basement are even more challenging. The game room was disappointing. It was stuffy, musty, and damp. We did not utilize that area. I……

“The place is outdated but talking to Steve who is the new owner he plans on making some changes. Overall it is what we expected and all that we really needed for what we were up to.”
