“This was a great cottage for our family of 4. Our kids (9 and 6) loved swimming and fishing off the dock. We used the 2 kayaks and pool toys that were available. The fire pit was great for smores and hot dogs at night. The lake bottom was very sandy by the shore which made it pleasant to walk around in. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs. We loved the historic feel. This is how a lake cottage is supposed to be. I'd recommend this property and plan on returning.”

“The house was set up perfectly for a large family to stay. We have plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen accommodated us cooking a big meal on one of the nights of our stay. Everything was clean and organized. We have family close by so we plan on staying again. 100% recommend. ”

“This cottage was a surprise gem! The pictures on the listing don't do it justice. The pictures show the lake cottage charm well, but we had no idea how many updated, modern features the cottage would have. From power outlets with USB chargers to incredible kitchen appliances, you will find both traditional lake charm and contemporary features. The owners were amazing and incredibly kind and responsive. “Superbly clean, quaint, very well appointed and decorated, cozy lake home. A group of 5 friends and I met here for the weekend and had a marvelous stay. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out for a spin on beautiful Lake George, taking a long walk around the lake, and spending lots of time catching up and visiting in the cozy home. “This home had absolutely EVERYTHING we needed for a long weekend by the lake. Kitchen is fully stocked, beds are comfortable, the yard has a swing and lots of birds, and the fire pit made the nights sooo relaxing. The property is a short walk away from the local campground- we rented a pontoon from them and had a great time on the lake. This place is perfect for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. 100 stars!!! ”
